Tutoring Center Application

  • Applications for fall semester are due no later than NOON on the first Friday in April
  • Applications for spring semester are due no later than NOON on the first Friday in November

course permits to add are by invitation only

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Must be a Communication Studies major.
  2. Must have completed at least four (4) or more of the following courses (with a grade of B or better) prior to the start of service: COMM 200, 300, 301, 306, 307, 330. Students who are currently enrolled in these classes may be granted conditional acceptance.
  3. Must demonstrate proficiency in public speaking, a desire to server the COMM community (faculty, students, and staff), and a willingness to enact professional communication as a representative of the department.
