Financial Aid and Scholarships

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Disbursements for Fall 2025 will begin in the second half of August, ahead of the first day of classes.  

  • Refunds are issued by Student Financial Services.  If you have questions about your refund status after your financial aid has disbursed, we encourage you to contact Student Financial Services directly.
 

If you are expecting to receive a Middle Class Scholarship, these will be added to Financial Aid packages for all qualifying students beginning in October.

Constitution Day 鈥 September 17

Today we honor Constitution Day, commemorating the signing of the U.S. Constitution in 1787. As part of Title IV federal student aid eligibility, schools must recognize this important day.

We encourage all students to explore the Constitution and reflect on its impact. Read the full text here:

  1. The Constitution is the oldest written national constitution still in use.
  2. It has 4,543 words鈥攁nd 7,591 if you include the amendments.
  3. 鈥淲e the People鈥 was viewed by many as a radical idea at the time.
  4. It鈥檚 been amended 27 times.
  5. Rhode Island was the last of the original 13 states to ratify it.

 

 

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:

We are aware that Congress has passed a reconciliation bill that has impacts to federal student aid, but these impacts do not take effect until after July 1, 2026.  

The bill does not impact aid packages for the upcoming 2025-2026 academic year.  

What We Do Know:

  • The California State University system is working diligently to assess any potential impact on our students.
