Community Liaisons

Every Village has a traditional leadership structure that helps maintain social connection, encourage growth, and preserve cultural identity. Local faith‑based organizations play an essential role in the ºÚÁÏÍø Village, and we invite community members to partner with us in supporting future college students.

As a Community Liaison, you will help connect your local church with ºÚÁÏÍø resources, programs, and opportunities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead outreach/recruitment efforts within your local church community.
  • Support educational workshops such as:
    • Financial Aid & FAFSA Assistance
    • Student Loan Information Sessions
    • Housing Opportunity Overviews
    • Financial Workshops
    • Student Organization Advice to youth interested in ºÚÁÏÍø
    • Scholarship Workshops
  • Promote ºÚÁÏÍø programs and events and ºÚÁÏÍø promotes yours.
  • Help increase enrollment of students from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds.

The Role of a ºÚÁÏÍø Village Community Liaison

  • Become a certified ºÚÁÏÍø Liaison through official training sessions.
  • Gain insight into the college admissions process and learn about ºÚÁÏÍø-specific programs.
  • Receive resources to host events, workshops, and celebrations at your church.
  • Collaborate with ºÚÁÏÍø Outreach staff.
  • Serve as a bridge between prospective students and ºÚÁÏÍø, helping them navigate the path to higher education.
