In order to better assist students, we will be offering limited drop-in advising prior to the start of the Fall 2026 semester. ESSC Advisors will also transition to all day Drop-In Advising for the first two weeks of the semester. Appointment-based advising will resume on 9/8/2026.

The Engineering Student Success Center (ESSC) Academic Advising Office serves the College of Engineering (COE) and is committed to helping students graduate in a timely manner with a highly-valued degree from ºÚÁÏÍø. The ESSC Advising Office offers appointment-based and drop-in advising options and provides assistance with:

  • Pre-major advisement
  • Academic programs and resources
  • General Education advising
  • MyºÚÁÏÍø's Degree Planner, Academic Requirements Reports, and other ºÚÁÏÍø documents
  • Academic policies and procedures, including the Rules to Degree Progress
  • Prospective student advising and application processes
  • Academic interventions and success strategies
  • Referral to other campus resources

 

Need Advising Help?

Each student in the College of Engineering is assigned academic advisor based on their major and whether or not they are in the pre-major or fully-declared in their engineering majors. To find out who your advisor is, visit the Find My Advisor page.
