CHLS 470-01 Latinas/Latinos: Health Status and Health Care Access

This interdisciplinary course examines the historical, socio-economic, environmental, and cultural factors that shape health, illness, and healthcare access among Latine communities in the United States. Drawing from public health, social science, policy and community health frameworks, students will explore how structural and systemic inequities impact Latine health outcomes and healthcare utilization.
