Day at The Beach is Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 9 a.m. - 3p.m. at California State University, Long Beach. As a reminder, this event is an optional open house experience for newly-admitted students and their families and is not considered an official orientation. for the latest news.

Day at The Beach happens before you commit, giving you a 鈥渟neak peek鈥 that can help you feel confident about your choice. 黑料网 specifically promotes it as an opportunity to support students in deciding whether 黑料网 is the right fit.
How to RSVP
We've sent an invite to you to RSVP to your email. Please use this to register for the event.
Each student gets their own 黑料网 account to access online campus services and their own 黑料网 email address. This email address is the primary mode of communication from the university to students. You will need to activate your account to access the Day at The Beach RSVP form.
Once you receive your offer of admission, follow the instructions below (or watch the video on the left) to activate your student account:
- Go to the and select Next.
- Then, enter your new 黑料网 email address (found in your admission email) and follow the instructions to set the password for your account.
- To set your password, you will need to confirm that it鈥檚 really you logging in by getting a verification code through a phone call or text message. (The phone number will be the one you used in your Cal State Apply application.)
After you activate your account, log in to 黑料网 Single Sign-On () to access your new email and other student services.
Remember, the deadline to accept your offer of admission is May 1 for Fall 2026!
To submit your admission decision, follow the steps below:
- . Throughout your time as a student, you'll use this hub to review your to do items, view your class schedule, review financial aid information, register for classes, check your account balance, and more.
- In the Admissions section, select 鈥淎ccept/Decline.鈥
- Follow the instructions to Accept/Decline Admission Offer.
When you accept your admission offer, you must pay the enrollment deposit, unless you qualify for a waiver. You can pay the enrollment deposit via credit card (MasterCard, American Express, Visa, and Discover) or electronic check. If you qualify for a waiver, the online process will automatically notify you. Once you accept your admission offer, you will receive an immediate confirmation that your acceptance and deposit have been received.
Financial aid is available in a variety of forms, depending on a student鈥檚 eligibility. Please note that your financial aid package is based on your enrolled unit load. If you drop a course and your units decrease (for example, from nine units to six units), your aid may be adjusted because your enrollment status would change from full-time to part-time.

Yes! We will be offering campus tours all throughout the day at Day at The Beach. If you are unable to attend, for more general information on campus tours, visit University Outreach and School Relations.
No! Day at The Beach is an optional and free open house event for newly-admitted students and their families to get a sneak peek at campus, meet the professors and college staff, and connect with student organizations.
Once you accept your admission offer, you will be required to attend mandatory Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration (SOAR) sessions before the start of classes in the Fall. Learn more about SOAR.
