Join us for a Fireside Chat with Dr. Neil Hultgren and Dr. Moya Li from the Department of English and Dr. Siavash Ahrar from the Department of Biomedical Engineering as they explore Mary Shelley’s novel Frankenstein. In this informal discussion, they will examine the value of reading fiction and the value of reading more broadly. No prior reading is required—just bring your curiosity and enjoy a thoughtful conversation. Come in costume if you’d like—there will be an award for the best one! Candy and an optional pen pal activity to follow. Students from all majors, including those from English and Engineering, are encouraged to attend.
