Health Care Management Advances to Finals of National Case Competition
A big congratulations to our four Health Care Management grad students that advanced to the finals in the annual UCLA Healthcare Case Management Competition sponsored and organized by the Fielding School of Public Health! Our ºÚÁÏÍø team finished 4th out of 92 teams! They had an incredible run!
At the competition, a record of 92 teams participated. From those 92, only 8 were asked to come to Los Angeles to present and compete; those schools included Cal State Long Beach, John Hopkins University, UCLA, University of Minnesota, University of North Carolina, Baylor and Xavier University. After a grueling morning competition, ºÚÁÏÍø advanced to the semi-finals. The competition was won by Xavier University; however, ºÚÁÏÍø was the first CSU team to ever advance to the finals! Congrats again to our amazing Health Care Management students!
