ºÚÁÏÍø

Dr. Arjang Fahim joined the ºÚÁÏÍø Department of Biomedical Engineering and Department of Computer Engineering and Science in Fall 2019. He obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of South Carolina, Columbia, in 2015. He was a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Biomedical Engineering working on cancer epigenetics from 2016 to 2018.

His current projects include developing AI- and ML-driven methods for predicting protein–protein interactions in pathogenic bacteria, advancing computational healthcare through privacy-preserving integration of clinical and demographic data, and exploring epigenetic variability as a biomarker of biological aging. Together, these efforts aim to bridge biomedical data science with real-world applications in healthcare, disease modeling, and personalized medicine.
