The Sunstone Innovation Challenge is an annual campus-wide business plan competition. The winning team receives support for their business, including $15,000 in seed funding, and space, marketing, legal, and accounting services totaling up to $35,000.

12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Psych Day  Location: Psychology Quad

Our 53rd Annual Psych Day is the largest event the Psychology Department has in the calendar year. This event is open to all students on campus and is advertised as such. Our organization invites over one hundred grad school and internship representatives to come to campus and give our students information on their programs. We also feature a research competition, where psychology students currently involved in research are able to submit abstracts and present posters to a group of judges.

9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Data Fellows Symposium Location: Library 2nd Floor

The Data Fellows for Student Success Program is a yearlong professional development experience that brings together faculty and staff to highlight and elevate the important work being done across ºÚÁÏÍø to support student success. Throughout the academic year, Fellows explore data literacy, engage in collaborative research projects, and develop meaningful, data-informed solutions that impact both the campus and the broader community. Participants meet bi-weekly for hands-on training, dialogue around key issues in higher education, and interdisciplinary networking opportunities. The program culminates in the April 2026 Data Fellows Symposium, where Fellows share their findings and showcase the value of their projects to student success at ºÚÁÏÍø.

The CNSM Faculty Research Showcase will highlight the breadth and impact of research and scholarly activity across the College. Featuring short talks by selected faculty from each of our six departments, alongside departmental displays showcasing a wider range of research accomplishments, the event will celebrate excellence in discovery, innovation, and student-engaged scholarship across CNSM.
