Join the pre-departure chat to learn the key components of a successful transition from your home country to ºÚÁÏÍø. This live online event will also connect you with key CIE and ºÚÁÏÍø staff that will assist you in your journey as a new international student at the BEACH.

Spring 2026 New Students: You will have access to pre-departure information in the CIE CANVAS Course soon. Please keep an eye on your student email address, and accept the CIE Canvas Course invitation once you receive it. 

Basic Predeparture Checklist:

  • F-1 I-20 document
  • Valid Passport
  • Valid F-1 visa
  • Personal medications
  • Secured housing accommodations
  • Secure a phone . Some alternatives include:

  • Prepare season appropriate clothing, shoes, undergarments
  • Personal computer
