Campus-Provided AI Tools

All of these tools leverage Generative Artificial Intelligence.  Copilot and Chat GPT EDU safeguard ºÚÁÏÍø data unlike publicly available AI tools, which may use your data to inform their large language models.  To distinguish between Copilot and Chat GPT, please see the comparison page

is available through the ºÚÁÏÍø campus license to all faculty, staff, and students. Authentication via SSO adds a layer of for campus users. Additional Copilots from Microsoft including Teams AI Companion and M365 Copilots are available at subscription rates. Contact the Division of IT for more information.

for Education will be available through July 2026 as part of the CSU-wide ChatGPT contract. This service is available faculty, staff, and students. The CSU-wide license agreement does not include access for emeriti and auxiliary employees. Like Microsoft Copilot, University data will be protected for campus users.

is an AI-powered image generator that offers intuitive controls on customizing style, color, and composition while creating professional-quality visuals. Faculty and staff enjoy a campus licensed account while students are offered a generously discounted rate. This licensed account includes 1000 generative credits that renew each month and can be used in Firefly and across other Adobe Creative Cloud software.
