The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has numerous remarkable natural resources, including cobalt and copper minerals, significant arable land, immense biodiversity, hydropower potential, and the world's second-largest rainforest. The DRC capitalizes on its abundant natural resources and has continued expanding its cobalt and copper mines.

The United States observes Law Day annually on May 1st as a day to encourage all Americans to reflect on the personal rights and liberties that are enjoyed and exercised daily. The receives credit for introducing the idea for Law Day in 1957. In 1958, President Dwight D. Eisenhower proclaimed Law Day to be observed each year on May 1.

CSU Directive: Time, Place, and Manner Policy (Fall 2024)The CSU Chancellor has issued a directive concerning activities that are strictly prohibited on university property. These prohibitions are not new to ºÚÁÏÍø, but have been incorporated into the Time, Place, and Manner Policy and are supported by California law.

California has strict rules about tenant security deposits that all residential landlords and property managers must follow. (Civ. Code, § 1950.5.) Knowing the rules can help tenants protect their hard-earned money.
