ABSOC Unveils Newly Renovated Space at Ribbon Cutting Celebration
On February 5, 2026, the Associated Business Students Organization Council (ABSOC) proudly hosted its ribbon cutting ceremony to reveal its newly renovated room. A refreshed, modernized space designed to elevate collaboration, leadership, and community among College of Business (COB) student organizations. To officially open the room, esteemed members of the ABSOC Executive Board gathered for the ceremonial ribbon cutting, marking the beginning of a new chapter for ABSOC and the vibrant student leadership community it supports.
Attendees included the ABSOC Executive Board, leaders from each COB student organization, staff, and valued supporters of ABSOC, who celebrated the milestone over light refreshments and networking. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as students and partners explored the enhanced space and envisioned the opportunities it will create. Both Former Dean Michael Solt and Current Dean Mark Suazo provided thoughtful remarks, and ABSOC President Daniel Pollock expressed heartfelt gratitude to the leadership team, planning committee, and the many individuals who helped make the renovation a reality. Emphasizing that the space will strengthen the community of student leaders who engage beyond the classroom and contribute to holistic student success.
