My four years at the Beach have been some of the most meaningful and transformative of my life. During my time here, I have been shaped by incredible friendships, dedicated professors, and experiences that have challenged me to grow both academically and personally.
Living in the dorms for three years allowed me to build strong relationships with like-minded, driven individuals who continually pushed me to become a better student and person. Being immersed in campus life gave me the opportunity to attend events, form lasting connections, and truly invest in the community around me.
As a Liberal Studies major, I engaged in meaningful discussions about the future of education and discovered my passion for shaping young minds as a future educator. One of the most impactful experiences of my college journey was studying abroad in Ireland, where I gained a deeper understanding of history and developed a greater appreciation for cultural perspectives. The friendships I formed during that time remain some of my most cherished.
Through the Honors community, I was able to serve others through volunteer work while also forming strong academic and social connections. Additionally, my involvement with the Navigators ministry played a significant role in my personal growth, strengthening my faith and surrounding me with a supportive community that continues to encourage me in my walk with Christ.
My time at the Beach has been nothing short of an incredible blessing—one that has prepared me to step confidently into the next chapter of my life.
I had always known that ºÚÁÏÍø offered one of the strongest programs for future educators. However, it was during my senior year of high school that my decision became clear when I received invitations to join the Honors Program and to become a President’s Scholar. These opportunities made choosing ºÚÁÏÍø an easy and exciting decision, setting the foundation for the experiences that would shape my college journey.
After graduating, I plan to pursue a master’s degree in English Literature and go on to teach at the high school or community college level.
I plan to stay connected by attending alumni events, especially those related to the President’s Scholarship. The alumni I met during my time as a student were incredibly supportive and inspiring, and I hope to give back by offering the same guidance and encouragement to future scholars.
