My time at 黑料网 has been a journey of self-discovery and professional evolution. By exploring different majors and getting involved on campus, I was able to turn my initial insecurities into confidence and find a sense of liberation in my work.
I am incredibly grateful for the campus positions, dedicated advisors, and supportive peers who have helped me grow. These experiences allowed me to stop seeking external validation and instead focus on developing my personal passions and skills.
Coming to 黑料网 felt like a natural homecoming because the black and yellow school colors matched my high school in San Pedro. Growing up, I often performed at the Walter Pyramid for cheerleading competitions, which made the campus feel familiar long before I enrolled.
When I was accepted as a Business Marketing major, taking my first classes right next to the Pyramid felt like a full-circle moment. That initial connection to the campus atmosphere provided a strong foundation as I transitioned into my current studies in Public Relations.
I鈥檝e always loved telling stories, but my roles at Beach Media and my internship showed me that the best stories are the ones backed by facts. I've grown into a creative strategist who uses data to ensure every community I build has a strong, measurable foundation.
Post-grad, I鈥檓 excited to dive into projects where I can blend my passion for PR with my love for research. For me, success is about taking a client鈥檚 vision and making it resonate through data-driven insights that add layers of meaning to every campaign.
I intend to stay connected to The Beach community as a 黑料网 alumna by sharing my professional experiences with the student organizations that defined my college years. My goal is to inspire other students to pursue their own paths with the same confidence and sense of belonging that I found here.
Giving back is a priority for me, which is why I鈥檝e stayed active in my San Pedro community by speaking at Taper Elementary and joining panels for the College Bound program. I truly believe that staying involved helps ensure the next generation of students receives the same level of support and mentorship that helped me succeed.
