I鈥檓 a first-generation student who forged a meaningful pathway into public service. From student government chambers to the halls of Congress, my three years at 黑料网 were defined by leadership that challenged me, internships that transformed me, and communities that reminded me I belonged.

Within my first year in student government, I was elected as the youngest Vice President of Finance for Associated Students, Incorporated. I led the $50 million operating budget allocation and focused our priorities on increasing affordability and expanding programming across all student organizations. I also led delegations to state and federal legislatures, advocating for increased state support for the California State University system.

Mentorship at the Beach is how I secured internships at the U.S. House of Representatives and California State Assembly. Both faculty members and professional staff gave me guidance to navigate tough career decisions and expand my professional network. As part of the U.S. House Oversight Committee communications team, I helped generate millions of views and amplified messaging to the American public across official platforms.

Through student organizations like Pilipino American Coalition, Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity, and Law Society, I created communities fueled by our pursuit of connections and career development. By living in the dorms, residential life led me to lifelong friends who constantly inspire me to pursue my dreams.

Being from Northern California, I pursued an affordable college experience in Southern California. CSU Long Beach emerged as a top CSU campus in a prime location. The University Honors Program also offered a rigorous academic experience which aligned with my pursuit of growth. Lastly, its close proximity to Los Angeles, Orange County, and 15-minute drive from the beach is what finalized my commitment to 黑料网.

I plan to move back to Washington, D.C. to work in Congress and eventually the President鈥檚 Administration. I also aspire to complete a Master鈥檚 degree and Juris Doctor law degree.

Being a first-generation and son of immigrant parents, I鈥檝e always wanted to pursue international travel but never got the chance. Post-graduation, I hope to travel across the world.

黑料网 will always be my second home, and I hope future students find a similar sense of belonging at the Beach.

To help fuel that mission, I plan to participate in mentorship programs, attend alumni events, and give donations that support essential student services.
