Daniel (Dan) Guillory, is an Operational Safety and Regulatory Section Manager for the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (MWD) and a registered Civil Engineer in California. He is responsible for identifying and controlling Environmental, Health and Safety risks. Dan determines and promotes the most effective and efficient Environmental, Health and Safety practices to protect Metropolitan employees, the public, and the environment, and facilitates compliance with related statutes and regulations. After completing a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Southern California and an M.S. Civil Engineering from California State University, Long Beach, Dan began his career as a consulting engineer completing environmental site assessment and soil/groundwater remediation projects throughout California.
