Programs and Workshops
Academic Technology Services is offering the following faculty programs to support the integration of low-cost learning materials into their courses as part of the ºÚÁÏÍø Affordable Learning Solutions (AL$) partnership.
Course Materials Integration Program
The AL$ Course Materials Integration Faculty Program provides resources and guidance to support the integration of low-cost learning materials into courses. In the program, Open Educational Resources (OERs), CSU Library Resources, and other open access content will be introduced.
Faculty participants will a create an e-portfolio site and share their process for integrating new materials at a Faculty Showcase Event highlighting their amazing work. Earn a $500 stipend for completing program requirements.
Fall 2025 Program Timeline:
- August 11-29: Application period
- September 1-12: AL$ Committee reviews applicants
- September 15-19: Applicants are notified of application status
- September 22: Program begins | Orientation @10am
- December 5: Program ends and deliverables are due
Self-Paced Canvas Course
In this course, faculty will discover Open Education Resource (OER’s), ºÚÁÏÍø equitable access programs, the impact of zero- and low-cost materials on students, and basic copyright and creative commons licenses for open educational resources. Earn digital badges for completing course requirements. Open enrollment; request access at any time.
