INSIGHTS 2026 Student Art Exhibition opening May 6th, 2026!
- the annual juried School of Art student exhibition at Cal State University, Long Beach will be taking place in the School of Art galleries (located between Fine Arts 2 and Fine Arts 3 buildings.) The exhibition will be opening on Wednesday, May 6th, and will run through Tuesday, May 12. On May 6th, there will be a Scholarship Ceremony from 4-5pm, followed by the INSIGHTS opening reception from 5-7pm. The School of Art gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 12pm-5pm.
The Kleefeld Contemporary Art Museum will also be hosting a selection of student works, from May 19th through July 10th. The opening reception will take place Tuesday, May 19th, from 12pm - 3pm. KCAM summer hours are Wednesday through Friday, 10am-3pm.
Parking instructions for the School of Art galleries - closest available short-term parking is in Lot S1 - $4 for 30min/$6 for 1 hour/$10 for 90 min; Day permit parking ($15) is also available in lots G1-G14. Campus Maps - /maps
