Oliver Wang, a professor in the Department of Sociology at Cal State Long Beach, was featured in an article highlighting his new book on the history of Japanese American car culture. The book is complemented by an exhibition presented by the Japanese American National Museum, titled “Cruising J-Town: Behind the Wheel of the Nikkei Community.” The exhibit is on view at the Peter and Merle Mullin Gallery in Pasadena through December 14.
