Chris Lowe, marine biology professor and director of Cal State Long Beach's Shark Lab, was interviewed by in San Diego about shark behavior after three zebra sharks were filmed for the first time mating in the South Pacific in what scientists call a "moresome." Lowe said while it is still somewhat of a mystery how shark mating takes place, it is understood in some species that the female can store sperm from several males and the offspring can be from multiple fathers.
