Who Should Apply?

Undergraduate CECS students who meet the following qualifications:

• U.S. Citizen
• Minimum GPA: 3.0+
• Proof of FAFSA eligibility
• Passionate about pursuing a degree and career in technology
• Able to thoughtfully share personal experiences and future goals

Scholarship Award

• $7,500 per recipient
• 12–17 scholarships awarded annually
• ������ students have a strong track record of success, including ~7 recipients in 2024

Tip: Judges value thoughtful and authentic short-answer responses. Share a short personal story on what this scholarship would mean to them, why they majored in “technology” and what impact they plan on having in the future.

*AWT has awarded between 12-17 scholarships a year, and the $$ amount is $7,500 each. Several ������ students have received this recently and including around seven ������ students in 2024.
