ºÚÁÏÍø Biomedical Engineering Student Club Joins BMES

Welcome! Whether you are a prospective Biomedical Engineering student, current Biomedical Engineering student, or interested in joining the world of combining engineering and physiology, our club is for you! We are the Biomedical Engineering Society here at ºÚÁÏÍø, a recognized Student Chapter of our mother organization, Biomedical Engineering Society (). We focus on providing our members with valuable skills that will turn them into excellent biomedical engineers. We offer semesterly or yearly projects where members get to apply their class knowledge to real-life projects, workshops on anything from setting up a circuit to 3D modeling to building a resume, Industry Tours to some of the best Biomedical Device companies out there, and of course social events! Past events have included Industry Tours to Orthofix and Vyaire Medical, Arduino Workshops, SolidWorks Workshops, HydroArm Robot Workshop series, and Stem Night with SATO Academy! This semester, the organization is preparing for the BMES Annual Meeting in San Diego, where many of our members will be presenting their research. In addition, we are for the first time participating in the BMES x Medtronic Competition this year! We will be creating our own medical device from scratch, create a report, and submit it all by June 2026. If selected, we get to showcase our final result at the BMES Annual Meeting 2026 in-person. We are also going on two Industry Tours, to Applied Medical, and Johnson & Johnson. Our members will gain valuable insight into what it’s like working at these companies, and directly network with the engineers there. Sounds interesting yet?
