Two teams including researchers from the College of Education have been awarded Multidisciplinary Internal Research Grants for the 2017-18 academic year via ������’s Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP). Interim Dean Shireen Pavri is teaming up with Dr. Gail Farmer from the  on a project entitled “Retention and Timely Graduation of Students with Disabilities in STEM and other Biomedical Disciplines.” A team of three CED researchers – Dr. Nat Hansuvadha (Special Education), Dr. Jacob Olsen (School Counseling), and Dr. Edwin Achola (Special Education) – will complete a project entitled “Culturally Responsive Multi-tiered Systems of Support in School Counseling and Special Education.” ORSP Internal Research Grants are designed to provide the opportunity for faculty to begin collaborating on a project that will lead to significant external funding.
