鈥 Karla Herrera, EMBA 鈥23 is a senior HR leader with expertise in benefits strategy, HR operations, and employee experience. She currently oversees the Benefits and HR Solutions departments for a multi-functional and global organization, supporting employees across complex and high-impact people initiatives. Her work focuses on organizational design, service delivery transformation and stake holder partnership during time of growth and change.
She earned her MBA from California State University, Long Beach and holds a SHRM-SCP certification. Karla is passionate about developing future leaders, navigating career transitions, and helping others succeed in corporate spaces while balancing faith, family, and purpose.

鈥 Stephanie Wells, MSIS 鈥22 is an entrepreneur, speaker, and senior leader in the financial technology industry. Drawing on more than a decade of experience, she most recently served as Director of Digital Channels at SkyOne Federal Credit Union, where she reshaped digital strategy and translated it into disciplined execution, strengthening performance across the organization鈥檚 core digital platforms, AI solutions and teams. She also served on SkyOne鈥檚 Senior Leadership Team, where she partnered with executive leadership to guide enterprise strategy, influence cross-functional priorities, and was accountable for organization-wide financial, operational, and growth performance.
She holds both a B.S. and M.S. in Information Systems from California State University, Long Beach, where she now returns as a speaker to guide others in navigating their own career growth.
As a woman in tech, the daughter of immigrants, and a first-generation college graduate, Stephanie brings a perspective shaped by navigating and overcoming barriers and is deeply committed to empowering women and underrepresented groups to pursue STEM, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship. Her mission centers on expanding socioeconomic opportunity and helping others build purposeful, authentic, and balanced careers.
She now owns and operates LVL ONE STUDIO, providing licensed professionals access to private office space through a membership model designed to break barriers to independent business ownership.
Looking ahead, Stephanie remains focused on building ventures across both physical and technology-driven spaces, while continuing to contribute to organizations through strategic and executive leadership.
