Peterson Hall One Replacement Will Be the New Home of the College of Health and Human Services

 The College of Health and Human Services (CHHS) is excited to announce a new, 128,000 gross square feet interdisciplinary building that will replace Peterson Hall One (PH1), faculty office 4 building, and faculty office 5 building. The PH1 replacement is the number one campus priority.&nbs

New GE Policy on Ethnic Studies

In August 2020, California Governor Gavin Newsom signed into law AB 1460 (Weber) which requires a 3-unit course in Ethnic Studies for all California State University (CSU) undergraduates by the 2024-2025 academic year.

The Grant Ready Program, Phase 1 and Phase 2 has launched for 2020-2021!

The Grant Ready Program was developed during the 2019-2020 academic year to meet one of the college’s Beach 2030 goals, which is to increase our indirect cost return. Briefly, grants are comprised of two parts: direct costs and indirect costs.
