Over Thanksgiving break, the Beach Rocket Lab supported a team of 4th year students with the testing of a student designed and built heatsink-cooled liquid rocket engine. 

The test's goals was to determine the effectiveness of a new, miniaturized liquid rocket engine testing platform.

The stand was build as a Senior Design Project under Mahdi Yoozbashizadeh as principal investigator. The team is comprised of students: Prit Ahir, Oscar Gomez, Nathan Ngo, Allen Natividad, Johnny Huynh, Nam Vo,  Jorge Palafox, and Jack Keller.
